IMPORTANT notes on mounting and operation
We recommend chaining no more than 4 boards in series, otherwise voltage will drop.
The blue protective film must always be removed before mounting — note that the adhesive is very strong. What sticks, stays stuck; it cannot be removed without damage.
We recommend using at least a 3mm-thick aluminum plate as a heatsink. The cooling area per board should be roughly 250x60mm. LED operating temperature must not exceed 70°C, which corresponds to a maximum temperature of roughly 55°C on top of the heatsink.
The LEDs should not be touched or pressed during mounting, as this can cause delayed damage and loss of LED performance. Please only press on the board itself — if needed, design a suitable pressing tool for 3D printing.
The board must only be operated above water with a suitable front cover.
